expiration date/double coupon

I think I read somewhere something about using coupons after expiration date? How often do they allow that? How much of a "grace period" is there on expired coupons? Because alot of coupons I find are only good for like another week or MAYBE 2 weeks and I won't be able to use them til next month :/

Also, when I read that a place doubles coupons but it says like "up to 1.00" I thought it meant, it doubles coupons that are up to $1. But my neighbor told me it actually means they will only double UP TO $1.

Like if I have a coupon for .50 cents off and they double it then it would be 1.00 off. But if I have a coupon for .75 cents off and they double it then it only goes to 1.00. So I would really only be getting an extra .25 cents. Is that correct? Im just curious to know if she is right. I thought that if I say had a .75 off and they doubled it then I would get 1.50 off. :/

What are the odds of a store accepting another stores coupons?
Say I have a coupon for CVS will a different store take them?
Is that what they consider "price matching"? Technically it's not a price lol its a coupon...but just wondering.

expired coupons: each store is different. most stores will not accept an expired coupon. there are still a few that will (very few) you would need to ask your store and find out. there is no grace period. midinight the day of expiration the coupon is no longer any good.

store coupons or coupons with store logos: this again is something that will depend on your store. ask and find out. some do the competitor coupons.

price matching: matching the sale price in ad of another store. again this is a store by store policy.

main forum, store deals ...go in there and you will find all your local stores. most or all have a "coupon policy" and a "store policy" at the top of the forum that you will get most of your questions answered

with the doubling some stores do what your neighbor mentioned and some will doulbe the 75 cents. you have to check your local store's policy.

The doubling depends on the store. Some stores double any coupon from $0.50 to $0.99 and make it a dollar. Some stores do true doubles - a $0.75/1 q becomes $1.50. Just need to know what your stores do.

Like MOM said, many stores do no accept coupons from other stores, and many stores do not price match.
