Default newbie - stacking coupon deal or not?

I have a $2 off coupon for the purchase any 2 lays kettle chips, sun chips etc. and also have another one for a free Sierra mist when you buy one Kettle chip, Sun Chip etc.
My questions is can I use these coupons together to get 2 bags of chips and 2 free sodas? Using a total of 3 coupons.

IMO No. You use the $2 cpn off 2 bags of chips. To use the 2 other cpns for the
free Sierra Mist you would need to purchase 2 more bags of chips.

this is a definate YMMV, but yes you can do it, it is called biggybacking and legal. you are using the $2/2 chips on the product you are buying, then the free sierra mist is for each chip you purchased.

actually the siera mist coupon is coded to attach to both products (just checked). It's a nogo. Not sure what some stores would do...but walmart it would spit out the journal... I would imagine most places it would beep or something similar.

but most BOGO are not like that though.

**Might** be able to get around it by giving the $2/2 first, then the BOGO coupon for the soda. It will beep, but for the cashier to enter the price. Very much YMMV.

    Thanks for the responses.
What do you mean exactly when at Walmart it would spit out a journal?

At walmart when coupons don't match the product...or if you accidentally use to many coupons per products (you have 10 bottles of shampoo and accidentally give them 11 coupons) it spits out a journal. a little piece of paper that tells the cashier that you can't use that coupon.

Now sometimes they happen in error..and the cashier can find a way to resolve it...but when I've used the piggyback method at Walmart..and didn't realize the BOGO coupon attached to both products...it caused way more coupon drama then I am comfortable with and typically managers get called in..and most of the time...they wouldn't take the coupon.

So now when I see a BOGO that attaches to both I just don't use it in a piggy back method.

We consider it a YMMV (your mileage may very) both in that some store's won't accept a BOGO and a cents off on the product "your purchasing". And if the BOGO attaches to both products...your up to the mercy of the cashier on whether they override it or not.

I agree...it's YMMV. I did use them that way and since the coupon is attached to the chips and soda it did beep...but the cashier overrode it when she saw I purchased all of the items. It doesn't hurt to try.
