Taxed after total!

Here in the lovely state of Tennessee we are taxed on the pre-coupon price. Food is 8.75%, and other items are 9.75%. I don't ever get truly free items unless I can purchase them at Walmart and use a combination of DH's employee discount and overage. *sigh*

Kroger here charges tax on coupons even if its with foodstamps(T'ed my brothers girlfriend off) because other stores dont charge it when you pay with foodstamps.

We have tax on everything here .10 on $1....
