name one food item where you wonder why it cost so much

the item I wonder why it is priced so high, is one of my favorites:

Heinz 57 sauce. Small 10 ounce bottle close to $4 and the larger bottle close to $6.00. I've tried the generic store brands that mimic the taste, but it is not the same.

what is yours?

single roll of paper towels?

I doubt anyone says ice cream, one of our store chains has some brand B1G1 free almost every week. We have chains that have their milk around $3.00 a gallon quite often too. So, at least in my area, those do not come close to my highest priced item that seems too high.
What they put in that Hz. 57 sauce, liquid gold?

I rarely see coupons (or sales) for couscous. It's a little pricey, not sure why....

oh and for ketchup we get hunts now instead of heinz. Hunts is generally cheaper. But still tastes okay. Also doesn't have HFCS in it.

Mayo-When it's on sale paired with a q I buy all I can get to last us.

we use the heinz 57 target brand, have you tried that one ? tastes good to me. Also, buy couscous at an international market. Not sure what markets you have in NC, here we have tons of Latin markets, it's dirt cheap there, Goya brand is one I've used. Maybe an asian market may work?

Eagle cond. milk, $3+ and HONEY...holy cow, $8+ per bottle! My dad used to have bee's and always brought us honey (which I never used) now that I wouldn't mind some honey, there is no way I'll pay that much! :)
