there were soo many good ones! I loved the last super doubles at HT back in september right before i went on vacation! I was able to only spend $37 OOP and get near $300 worth of food! Thats the best i have ever done.
That time of the year.....I always start a thread asking what was your favorite deal of the past year.
For me, hands down, had to be the Kellogg's madness that occurred at Giant this summer. Tons of FREE stuff, no coupons necessary. Then with coupons, major moneymakers. On top of that, in some stores I got a free reusable grocery tote with every 2 boxes of cereal. I mailed in 9 rebates (8 from one promo per household, new one was 1 per household) at $90 total, plus 3 movie ticket promos which I sold on ebay for cash. I still have tons of Kelloggs cereal and Eggos in my stockpile from that deal.
And I think what made it extra good--was that there were no hassles. It seemed like every freakin Kelloggs/Keebler product worked, no matter what you got. And no cashiers ever hassled me. I went every day for a week, doing many transactions at a time, no one questioned it.

Hmm, for me it was first year of couponing, a lot of learning, mistakes and stress :-)
The best deal - last GM promo at HT - spent $20 get $20 OYNO back.. with qs I have and additional cat promos - it was easy moneymaker on things I really use..
Another big one - Back-to-school deals at Staples...
Hope next year will have more deals that I can do to save more money!
Always looking for NBPR/NWPR MIR valid in VA/MD
There have been so many good deals this past year - I do recall getting a free photo book at some point - I would have to say that is probably one of my best deals of the year. Can't even remember the website I got it from now. Snapfish maybe?
I think my best deals of the year have come from necessity this Christmas with the Victoira Secret, Kohls, JCPenney and Hallmark q's that are out.
May favorite was with the JCPenney code that took off 10.00 instead of 15% fluke. I got a whole set of towels - 250.00 before sales and q's for 15.90 and two sets of sheets that were regularly 60.00 (both sets) for 17.00. I was SO excited. We'd been putting these off for a while and desperately needed new ones.
I've cut back quite a bit since I went to a four day week because I'm too tired, so I'm sure I missed some good ones.
I just did an awesome one: I got 40 packages of Purina Chew-eez dog treats for free after coupon, and made $20 in cats on the deal.
My memory sucks, so I can only recall the deals I have done recently.
Vicks Dayquil/Nyquil Sinex pills & nasal sprays ... final price of 4/1.00 & earned a 4.00 cat towards your next hba purchase for every 2 boxes purchased.
Swiss Miss hot chocolate & OR popcorn ... did transactions containing 6 boxes of each - final price ~.24-.28 for all 12 boxes & earned (3) 3.00 oyno cats per transaction.
Also great deals on the Olay & Secret with the 5.00 off Olay wyb Secret. Super cheap with the 6-pks Olay on sale for 5.00 - ecoupons added in & using cats from previous orders.
Lots of free Sierra Mist with the 1.00/1 2liter coupons.
sets of 7 cartons of Progresso broth - .50 total for all 7
sets of 7 packs of Hefty paper plates - .50 total for all 7
I loved the Kroger Daytona 500 mega event. I got kraft cheese for .49 and free Birdseye steamers. I got 50 steamers and 80 cheeses. Bought a deep freezer just for thhis sale, still eating cheese.

The knox
amen
LOL About 1/2 my kids current clothing came from the awesome overage from the knox coupon. The most I did at once was 40...with the manager pissing his pants he was so annoyed that I was going to do it...and nothing in the coupon prevented me from doing so. Wish I had that one on video tape.

Probably when Safeway had Kellogg's fruit loops on sale for $1.50, and I got 20 $0.70/1 that doubled so I ended up with 20 boxes for $2. I've also REALLY loved the $10/$10 JCP q's, they allow me to get cheap new clothes for Cara.
