Although I like the idea of being able to get cash back, I am also concerned too many people would abuse this policy and Walmart will put an end to it. I have always purchased more items to use up all the overage, and will continue to do so. Besides, I ALWAYS need something else at Walmart. I just prefer to get my overage and make a quiet exit.

People used the RR's and abused the system (getting tons of money back with using RR's) and that lasted about two weeks before Walmart pulled the rug out from under that policy.

they're the cats printing at WAG they call register rewards.

WM will still take other stores cats if they are product specific for dollars off BUT no more of the OYNO good on your next in-store purchase. They may have been burnt with thousands of the $10 RRs exchanged for cash while buying small items.

I *think* the overages from coupons will stay for now, even if they give change in cash for them. The $3 Purex coupon that gave huge overages is now expired so unless another higher value MQs comes along, we may see a decrease in high cash back receipts being posted on the 'net trying to outdo each other

Millstone bag or 1/2lb+ bulk or k-cups $2 (x 03/31/11) from 02/13 RP.
HT has the small 2oz bags on sale for $1.20 and the coupon does not have size specification, so $0.80 overage per bag! HT will not give cash back, just buy other stuff to eat up the overage.

I think the Gain dryer sheets is still good for another week or so??? Anyone know for sure...Those gave over a dollar in overage.

Maybe. I guess that means I might be too. I had the exact same thing happen to me with the $3/1 Purex Q (after I had gone through the whole store and painstakingly picked out the items that would eat up the overage within a few cents), and they refused to allow overage even with my policy in hand. They said that the register would systematically not allow them to do it. So, I left everything, and called CS as soon as I got home. After I had been assured that it would be fixed, I went back that evening and got back cash. IF I go back, I will definitely have something to eat up the overage.

I went to a different Wal-Mart, I live right smack in the middle between 2. Got 11 of the Purex to go's and a free bottle of Franks, and a free box of Purina One Beyond. I wanted to test out the policy this time, not "show em" cause this was a different store. And boy what a difference!! The cashier knew what to do, it came up with overage, she called the SCM right over who keyed it, and no issues.

Guess which Wal-Mart I'm going to shop at now??
