Stores That Double Coupons In Southern California?

I am not sure if I am posting this in the correct place, but I was wondering if any of you knew what store in my area doubled coupons? I have tried to find out however I am getting no where. I live in Southern California, and VONS used to double coupons but I am unsure if they still do. When I called the store, I must have been connected to a newbie who had no idea what the store policies were. I aprreciate any help you can give me

your best bet is to go to the store forums and ask there.

and remember, if you get that "uuummm i dont think so" answer from the person who answers your question, call back and ask for the manager or customer service. also if you are in the store, ask. ask them for copy of their policy and what they double and how many at one time. i can tell you each store is different.

i would try and get the policy anyway. it's good to have a copy on hand in case there is ever any problems. some store have nation wide policies that can be printed online, so it wouldn't hurt to do an online search or go to their website. i hope you find one!

Ralph's also doubles coupons, along the same lines as Vons.

For So Cal. that's about it for doublers. Sometimes Albertsons does it, but they limit it to three doubled coupons per order and you have to have their "double coupon pass" found in circulars to do it. It's a PITA.

I personally emailed each store about their policy and they all responeded differently I wanted a hard copy but they emailed me which was irritatting. Anyways recently I have only seen Ralphs and Albertsons double the coupons and is only very seldom nowadays. Last time I saw Ralphs double coupons it was around thanksgiving I believe. So maybe only around MAJOR holidays they double to get more business??

Interesting question! You definitely want to check out the Vons forum. Their "double" coupon practice is super weird, IMO. I should go in there and ask about it (which it looks like you have to do, because I don't think all Vons double coupons) but I just don't want to go to the trouble. (Vons cashiers aren't the nicest bunch...)

Anyway, my practice around here (SoCal) is to base my deals on coupon face value. I still find great deals. And then any doubling is a bonus.
