I hated the noise too but felt it was worth it for the environmental benefits. We don't buy the chips that often anyway.

I didn't like the noisy bags, and the chips didn't stay as fresh either. I'm glad they'll be changing them.

I like the idea of 'green' as much as the next person but seriously, that was one noisy bag!

What I would like to see is so much of the packaging wasted on products cut back! Some packaging is overkill, I'm sure better packaging would reduce the waste stream if all manufacturers just did a little retooling.

I agree with you on each of these points. Putting some Frizz-Ease into my stockpile today, I was confused as to why the little bottle needs to be secured in plastic which is then secured in a box when it could just be put on the shelf as is.

I have several friends who compost and said that the bag didn't decompose well anyways. So despite the green packaging, I think more bags still ended up in the trash than not...

I agree wholeheartedly. Packaging is ridiculous these days!! So wasteful...

Lol.....I was afraid the bag would decompose before I ate them.

Not sure this green thing was not a scam to begin with. I am all for improvement of the planet if it is not being used by greedy corporation just to charge you more for less

Eyeballing the sunchips the green bag looked smaller.....not sure if anyone had the specifics but it could be the case of the incredibly shrinking product

I didn't complain but I bet their sales took a hit because I know the times I had coupons for it and thought about buying it, I'd quickly put it back because it was so loud. Trying to sneak it as a snack is one thing but I didn't even like putting it into my cart, lol. :D

We didn't complain, but we couldn't even open a bag in our livingroom at night without waking up our son who's room shares a wall with the livingroom. :-P
