Problems Using Coupons

I'm sure everyone had heard of "The Coupon Mom" right? Well I was watching some of her videos, and wondering why don't the cashiers give her a problem when she uses coupons? Why does the cash register only beep for everyone else? She gives the cashier all her 50 million Q's, her total comes up to 3 cents and dosn't have one problem. I go to the store with 2 $2/1 Pampers wipes Q's and get shot down quicker than a bolt of lightening. Does anyone know why this is?

Wish i knew! I havent run into coupons beeping really other then at harris teeter but they seem to know why it beeps and press some buttons and voila! Ive had a cashier tell me they are suposed to only accept one BOGO coupon but scanned all mine anyways and none beeped. go figure! guess she lives in a world of perfection and nice people! Or she has secret magic coupons!
But if you were at walmart with these. walmart just plain sucks in general with coupons to get a good deal. I think they must be scared of coupons!

Yup! I was at Walmart! How'd you know!? Oh wait, everyone knows Walmart gives you a hard time with coupons. I don't know what there probelm is. They are getting payed back. It's like non of the employees even know the coupon policy, not even the managers! It's crazy!

I can atest to Walmart being horrible! I just left there and 1 of my coupons beeped. The screen said something to the effect of "check Journal for product purchase verification". She just handed me back my coupon and said it doesnt work.....20 minutes later I had my $1 off of 2 jello products! I was more upset that she didnt even attempt to look for it before saying she wouldnt take it! She said that she wasnt even suppose to take coupons in the garden center!!! WHAT!!

OMG. I woulda been like um void my order please ill take my stff and coupons to a regular register. they are all registers! My mom works at walmart in fla. i think they like to make up rules just cause. I wuolda been diggin through bags to show her the products! I had to do this at target. i got 3 airwicks . gave her all 3 coupons she only scanned one. So i went to customer service. she tried telling me i had to get 3 i was like i did and showed her then shes like h ok. so got my 8 bucks back!

Cuz its the Coupon Mom with a camera crew!! Of course the cashier is going to be all smiles and pushing coupons through. Coupon Mom should do an undercover shopping trip, or someone do a video on how cashiers/managers treat customers for using coupons legit!

Well she shops at these store all the time and has been for a long time now so they all know her...

I shop at walmart 98% of the time and I use the same cashiers as much as I can, because they know me pretty good and dont give me a hard time even if one beeps, but sure enough if I go to different cashier than the 5 or 6 that I use all the time, I will have problems, never fells...so get to know your cashiers try to stick to the same ones if you can, never go to a NEW cashier those are the worst they are scared of getting in trouble for do the wrong thing..

your right csm and cashiers dont know the coupon rules...

I'm wondering if it is possible to write a petition and send it to " wal mart " to ask them to please please educate their cashiers about coupons.
I'm sure- it would draw their attention - ( wal mart is famous for it's greed" - ) if we told them how much " business " they are losing because of uneducated cashiers.

I'm sure they would get much more visits ( from us obsessed coupon shoppers " if their cashiers knew how to do their job.

So any suggestions ?

Walmart is the pits on coupons, the bottom of the proverbial barrel

Not worth the hassle and to be honest, I save more at the tonier grocery store nearby than I do there anyway, overall.

I just quit shopping Wally World, not worth the hassle.

Since i saw are documentary movie about " wal-mart " business etiquettes etc. I just got grossed out by it - and i went from shopping 2-3x a week there, to maybe 1x in 6 weeks !

I don't see it worth going there either, love my " fry's " and that's why i'm there like 3-4x a week- !! They know me there :) Don't miss Wal Mart. But for those who shop there- maybe it would be nice if those " cashiers " would actually learn something.

Personally- i just like to " avoid " it , since i found out how they are abusing the " cheap labor " and how much they are hurting US overall - -but that's a whole another topic.
