I was ordering some things from Walgreen's online and ordered 15 packs of the mechanical pencils for .19 each. Not sure if that's the greatest deal but it was good enough for me.

Just a head's up: Staples sneak peek for next week is up over on their site. Penny sales now have a $5 dollar limit before you can get the items for a penny. Booo.

Yah, but the pack of paper is $4.99 with the easy saver of $4.98 (limit 2). So that means, if you pick up both packs of paper, you can get your folders & pencils for $0.01 since your total will be $9.98 (easy saver rebate $9.96).

According to the ad, no. The $5 have to be anything OTHER than items on Extreme deal. :Y

Edit: It does say no extreme deal, however the paper isn't marked extreme deal, so you may be right!

Has anyone noticed the price of crayola WASHABLE markers (the fat ones) anywhere? I'm on a hunt for those for our V.B.S. at church.

Thanks!

I saw these on clearance at Walgreens a couple weeks back. They were 79 cents. I bought the two packs mine had for DD.

Me too. I always buy loose leaf, pens, pencils and if I find a cheap 3 ring binder or 5 subj notebook I pick up those too.

Not having a supply list until school starts is the pits. Once school starts then I can't find basic stuff like loose leaf and pencils. Everthing will be sold out at all the stores around here.

There's an off brand at Walmart for $0.70. I think the crayola are either $1 or $2...I don't remember which. I'm waiting for a good sale on them as DD will need some for school.

Thanks for the update on the Washable Markers!

I did see some Crayola Markers at my Walgreens. HOWEVER, I think they were either the skinny ones or the non-washable ones. I don't remember seeing the washable markers. I'll have to check on that again tomorrow though, just to make sure!
