Default Help me interpret a coupon

I founds some wine tags today that say "Save $1.00 instantly on prepared meals." There is a picture of a plate with pasta and veggies on it on the front of the coupon. No further clarification on the back.

I am thinking this is good for prepared foods from the deli....can anyone think of other things this coupon would legitimately work for?

Any thoughts?

Frozen dinners? I doesn't say the prepared meals had to be fresh.

Along the same line, if it doesn't have to be fresh, Canned food? Canned soup, stew, etc.

I would think cans of prepared stuff would work too, like beef stew, soups, chef boy rdee, lunchables to name a few.

I wish I had this problem - we never get wine tags that do not require purchase! I think that these things get interpreted pretty broadly.

Yes, I usually interpret them pretty broadly too when they aren't beepers. However, these are going to be beepers everytime so the cashier and CS person are going to have to agree with the broad interpretation, which is why I am trying to get a sense of how others might interpret them.

Reps to all the opinions above. Thanks!

if i could ever find those, i would use them in the deli...but that is just me as i like the BBQ wings from schucks! they have them hot on the deli bar. i would also think the deli prepared individual meals (the spaghetti, lasagna etc) that some have that you can take and go and microwave at work....i would also think a prepared hogie meal would be a "meal" as it would be lunch

I think I know which one you are speaking of, is it kinda white with black lettering and the palte on front?

If so I used mine at my local store on a chicken meal from the deli already pre-made. My other was used towards some freshly made sandwiches found by the deli. I asked my store and they said I couldnt use it on premade canned goods. But to each store they will decide differently. But figured this might help you out.
