Default Thinking of getting back on the wagon

No, I'm not going to become an alcoholic.

In the heyday of my couponing, I did CVS, Walgreen's, Rite Aid, Kmart superdoubles, Acme, Superfresh and occasionally Target and Walmart. I had a baby about a year ago, so I took time off. I focused on only my one grocery store (Acme) and have been living off my stockpile. It's been a nice break. I donated TONS and really pared down.

My son started a new school recently and they sent home a wish list. I'm looking at this list and thinking "man, I could get so much of this stuff for free."

But part of the reason I took a break was that the deals at CVS and wags were getting harder, Kmart was having stricter and fewer superdoubles, etc. So if someone was going to get back in the game, what would you recommend? Where are there still decent deals to be had? Keep in mind that I have a 1 year old and a 3 year old, so going back day after day, doing multiple transactions all the time, may not be feasible.

Default Re: Thinking of getting back on the wagon

I think the deals are still worth it. Even though Kmart has pretty much completely stopped Super Doubles...I think that the deals to be had are still totally worth couponing. And I wouldn't worry at all about only being able to not do daily trips to the stores w/ multiple transactions...I live 45 minutes from the closest WAGS, CVS, Target...basically any store but WalMart...so I only get shopping once per week. I do several transactions when necessary in that one stop at each store, but it all gets done in one day. I hope that jumping back in is easy for you and that you find that the deals are still TOTALLY worth it! Good luck!
