Really, Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'm not one to be 'mushy' but I have to say thank you, thank you so much.

I started extreme couponing in Oct of '09, about 4 months ago and I have saved so much and have a decent little stockpile. I have been laid off for about 3 months and by couponing we are doing just fine paying all the bills on 1 income. Thank you for allowing me to keep all the things I've worked so hard to get.

This is the part that I would really like to thank you for. My bestie showed up yesterday evening in tears, she had finally told her abusive husband that she wanted a divorce. He had been out of the house for a few weeks but she finally made the cut. [Thank God] I know she doesn't have a lot of money right now [he wiped her out and she is paying everything alone: mortgage, insurance, car payments etc.] and I know she hasn't been eating. I think it is the stress of everything plus she just doesn't have the money for groceries. She didn't even have a piece of bread at home.

Last night, after talking and crying and everything, I was able to give her a bunch of stuff from my stash. She was so happy and hugged me so hard. I know that when going through a divorce a couple bags of food aren't going to change your life but I'm so grateful I could take care of her in that way. And I know it made a difference to her.

With out HCW I know I would be in a different situation, not just in couponing and finances, but in my mindset. So, I just want to say thank you for the impact you have made in my life and in the lives of the people who matter to me.

I too am very thankful for HCW. It may sound silly but i include it in my prayers. I know i would be living a different life if i could not have found it. We are in hard times our self and if i wouldn't have found HCW i don't know what i would have done.

You may think you may not have done much by giving her groceries but you DID. You showed her friendship, kindness, hope and more. She will remember this and be greatful of you.

HCW to me is more than just the deals. It's like one big tight family!! That's why i chose it over others. I have not found the kindness and friendships anywhere else like here. Thank you for thanking HCW! It reminded me how greatful i am of it.

I know! Whether I'm jonesing for a deal or just feeling lonely, I log on here and read through the posts. Its so much more than just a 'coupon website'. I wanted everyone to know that this place makes a difference in peoples lives. :)

Aww that is so wonderful!
Sorry she is going thru such a hard time but how wonderful to have a friend like you.

We are out of work and going thru some stuff here too and yet tomorrow I am going to go donate some baby formula that was free, diapers hes outgrown and food items that we have too much of. I LOVE being able to help others even when times are tough. And last week I donated another 10 glucose meters to the church.
Not tooting my own horn just love that I can do something to help someone even in tough times thanks to everyones help here at HCW. I get aggrevated with the bickering and some of the crud that goes on now and then but its still the best place around with the best deals and the best people ever.

Yes I too am so thankful for what HCW has done for me. I feel so blessed in my life right now.
God bless your friend. Things will get better for her. It just takes time to get on with your life after such a rough ordeal.
