Funstuff What does your "couponing" area look like? -- Please post pics!

I always wanted to start a thread like this so I can see that I'm not the only one. The 2010 in 2010 Decluttering Challenge inspired me to start it. So post pictures of what your couponing area looks like. Maybe you'll be embarrassed enough to tidy it up. Or maybe you'll just inspire me with some new ideas!

There are piles of DVD seasons I've been trying to get rid of, remnants of plastic storage for filing trading coupons that I have don't use anymore, dog biscuits , and then just junk junk junk everywhere else.

My newest "filing" system.

Non insert storage and envelopes...

Another attempt at organization. I just cleaned off tons of expired stuff yesterday, which means this isn't really doing its job. I got it so I could constantly have eyes on stuff I didn't want to expire and MIRs that need sending in and things that NEED to be taken care of.

And then the printer area. I print printables and then don't take them off the printer until they are expired. Whoopsie!

Ok, I just gotta ask.......................how did you train your coupons to stay in an area??????

If I were to post pics of my coupon "area" it would include my boxes of coupons, my binders, my living room floor, the coffee table, the kitchen counters, my desk, my nightstand, two purses(one is supposed to be just for my coupons so they don't invade my real purse), the floorboard of my car, the passenger seat of my car.......
I just don't know if I can take that many pictures. Please teach me how to train my coupons like yours , mine tend to invade EVERY space of my house and car

Well, this isn't all of it. They are on the dining room table, the coffee table, the table with the lamp, on the bookshelf, in the car, in the trunk, in the bathroom, on the kitchen counter, in jars and containers, on the floor, overflowing from my TWO trashcans by my desk. EVERYWHERE. After the tree comes down, I'm going to move a night stand down to the living room to try to contain all my coupon stuff that is downstairs. DF can attest to my coupon mess. I can't complain about him leaving his clothes all over because my coupons can be found in all the same places.

lol good subject...ummm it's kind of a touchy subject at my house. I have my office desk covered and the floor is covered with paper. I cut a coupon and throw the extra paper on the floor my trash can can't keep up. My BF is constantly telling me to clean it up. I tend to print all day long and as soon I clean it up....bam it's a mess again

I confess, I have a mess too and I actually sleep with it! I have a milk crate in the nook beside the bed with hanging files for inserts but half of them don't wind up there, they are on the side of the bed I don't sleep on. Half the time my binders are on the chest at the end of the bed, half the time they are on the bed. I sit on the bed and clip coupons while I read HCW on the laptop propped on the bed and watch TV, most of the time I sleep with my coupons, how sad is that! I've been on vacation this week and have spent 2 days clipping and organizing so I can get rid of the mess next to me and have a real space to spread out and sleep! Oh wait a minute, did I mention that 2 dogs weighing 85 and 60 pounds sleep with me too? I guess they are guarding my coupons from incoming intruders!

Thanks to joining the decluttering challenge I'm determined to sleep paperless!

well if you had asked me 2 days ago, I would have told you that I had coupons everywhere .. in my car, in DH's car, on my desk, on the counter, on the kitchen table, on the computer table ...

but I have spent the past 2 days organizing all my coupons .. I can't believe how many expired coupons I have been holding onto .. I have all rebates in a pile on my desk and will work on those the next few days.

I have consolidated all my coupons down to 2 storage bins and sorted alphabetically (this system works for me) .. I also have my trusty red binder and I purged coupons from there as well...

I am feeling organized for the moment but who knows how long that will last!!

Love the boxes with dates on them. I need something like that. Instead of piles and stacks of coupons under the table in the bedroom.
