If you didn't look in my garage, you wouldn't know I was a coupon lady, lol. My trick to keeping the office neat is that I store my extra inserts in boxes by date and stack them in the garage. I don't clip them until I need them. In my office, I just keep one copy of each insert, for reference purposes. I'll post a pic when I have a chance.

Area? If you ask my DH the whole darn house is my area!

Raj: I don't like bugs, okay? They freak me out.
Sheldon: Interesting. You're afraid of insects and women. Ladybugs must render you catatonic.

I need to work on my pics...but basically it's my sister that keeps me organzied.

    I purchase the coupons.

    She cuts ALL THE COUPONS
She holds each stack of coupons out to me....I yelp which ones I want.

I file away the ones I will most likely use....she files away the ones for trades or trains into 2 separate accordion files.

But before she files them away she types in each coupon here on the data base

We use a shoe box to put all the coupons that need to be put into the database and filed.

She's a bit OCD so it gets done rather timely.

She lives with us...and doesn't pay rent...but I figure this is a fair trade.

I have my q's in a rubbermaid storage thing I got on clearance at walmart. I only get 1-2 a week so it's not that much of a mess. But I do want to really get into it this year and buy maybe 3 instead and get a binder. I do have to admit its hard to keep track of which q's I have and trying to find them is another story so you know what, I am getting a binder, next month. Oh and for those binder user's, do you use photo pages or baseball card pages?? Which ones are better?? Thank you to those who answered :) :)

I use both. Photo pages for bigger coupons (to hard to fold them and they come out if I do so) and baseball cards pages for smaller q's. I have used boxes and accordion folders and they just didn't serve the purpose. Oh another note I have cleaned out a bunch of coupons and I'm working on more. Just hope I can get organized.
I had sanity once upon a time I promise . It was just so long agoooo that I can't remember it.

Thumbs Down Re: What does your "couponing" area look like? -- Please post pics!

this is the very reason (the mess!!!) that I'm really reluctant to get into couponing big time. I already have a huge problem with paper!!!!

    What a fun thread!

I never realized I was organized!
Actually, missing a few good deals because I couldn't find the coupons made me get better organized.

I usually only have 4-6 of any given insert and keep them in a verticle folder, the yellow index card file is for printables, peelies, blinkies and tearpads.
