Oh, haven't you heard? Coupons are a waste of time! It's so much cheaper to just buy generic.

This article is filled with the usual lame suggestions. But I guess that means more coupons and deals for the smart shoppers.

Yeah, it's true they're not all lame suggestions. I think I tend to see it that way only because most of this stuff is a given for anyone with common sense. Like keeping track of how much you spend. This is the only way I shop. And although you'd think that people who complain about how much money they spend should surely want to keep it under control, I never see anyone keeping track in the stores. Why complain about something that's so easily fixable?

That article is cracking me up. Buy generic cereal (OMG) and oatmeal packs for $3.99 (like we pay that much). Where are the tips on checking ads and matching coupons up? This guy needs a HCW awakening. I admit not all shoppers are as savvy and don't care what they put in the cart. Glad I'm not one of those shoppers.
