Re: Help old HP cartridges! Am I reading and understanding this correctly? From the excerpt below the link, particularly the second and third paragraphs, it sounds like the Office Depot program is set up so that your credit is limited to the same amount as what you purchased already, and you risk losing some credit if you don't spend up to your full credit amount by the end of the year. I guess it's not a problem if you already spent or will spend a certain amount of money at Office Depot in one year.
85+ cartridges means a $255+ Office Depot credit, but assuming I understood the terms of their program correctly, first you have to spend $255+, then you can use that $255+ credit on something else. Is that right? Office Depot Worklife Rewards™ Program
Per the above link:
"Join Worklife Rewards™ and bring in your empty cartridges for recycling to your nearest Office Depot store. As a member, you’ll get $3 back in Recycling Rewards* for each cartridge recycled, up to 5 cartridges per day. You can recycle more, but Recycling Rewards will only be issued up to 5 per day.
Recycling Rewards will not exceed the amount of your total qualifying annual Office Depot purchases. (Qualifying purchases excludes taxes; shipping; postage stamps; and prepaid gift, merchandise, debit, phone or service cards.)
Recycling Rewards will be issued as part of your Worklife Rewards™ mailer, 60 days after the end of each quarter if you earned a minimum of $10 in Worklife Rewards and/or Recycling Rewards. Unearned Recycling Rewards will carry over from quarter to quarter and will expire at the end of the year." |
