    Default bidcactus.com

move this if needed but not sure where else would be appropriate.

I got to Bidcactus.com through a MyPoints email. I registered and got my points, but I have been lurking there and it seems too good to be true. Has anyone participated in this? I just saw a $50 ToysRUs gc go for 60cents, yes I know there is a cost to bid, but after the initial purchase, you can bid on bids and get them really cheap, too. I know you would have to be very careful with your bids so as not to spend more, but if you were very patient, I'm thinking this could be a money maker. Please let me know if anyone is doing this.

    thanks

I am not signed up but from what I understand, you pay $.75 per bid, plus what you are bidding, so lets say you are bidding on a $250 item and win for $150, you would owe that plus the amount for the bids ($.75 X ??) You could end up spending lots or if very lucky very little

you have to buy the bids in advance, and I think you would really have to keep track of your bids, but I have been watching and you can wait until it is down to 2 or 3 seconds before you bid. You also can bid on bids, so you could get your bids for less than 75cents each. I am looking to buy visa gift cards. even if I can only get $50 for $20 it sure would help pay for my daughter's trip to DC...I'm still lurking and would love to hear from someone who has actually done this.

    HAPPY DANCE Re: bidcactus.com

I have done BidCactus.com, and I have received real and fully loaded gift cards in the $ amounts I bid on. I have not tried to win the items in question.

If BidCactus sticks to it's program of only 6 wins a day and only 30 wins in a month, it will be a better place to bid.

You just have to be careful, and don't get caught up in bidding wars. I have watched people put in 75 bids to win a 25 bid pack. Can be a little ignorent sometimes.
