Emailing companies for coupons. Which ones?

I've decided to start emailing companies and asking to be added to a mailing list if they have one.
I'm wondering if there are any tried and true companies that send something?
I already emailed Land O'Frost about my favorite lunch meat that I always buy and they told me they don't have a coupon mailing list right now:sad:
