For me it depends on how many hrs I worked the week before! I work at a grocery store so the hours vary. I used to have about 75 a week to spend but the last few weeks has been about 40. There are 4-6 people in my house depending on the day. My DH has a daughter who lives with us,but goes to her moms every other weekend. my son lives with his father but is here on the weekends and we have two together. I had stopped couponing for a while but the last few weeks really got back into it since I havent had alot of hours. So I guess that works out to 6.6 per person. We also qualify for free lunches at school and where DH works they feed him breakfast and lunch so that helps. Only myself and the three yr old at home during the day!

$25 per person (3 people)
This includes household/personal supplies AND stockpiling items.
We have one in diapers.

Coupons do not help stay in budget with our plan; it helps us stockpile within our budget range.
Snack foods are limited to 1 reusable bag worth for the entire family. I often buy generic snack foods.
We are completely stockpiled on our vegetables, pork, beef, chicken, canned goods, cereals, boxed dinners, rice, beans (dry/canned), noodles, sauces,

So our weekly staples are:
Milk (1/2g whole, 1/2g skim or chocolate, quart soymilk for me) $4
2 loaves of Bread $3
2 bags of Shredded Cheese $3.50
Beverages (soda, crystal light, whatever is requested) $10
Fruit or Vegetables (fresh/canned/frozen) $5
Diapers $6 (if we're good, it is saved till a good stockpile opportunity presents)
Snack Foods $6
Total staples: $37.50
My remaining $37.50 goes toward items that are at stockpile prices or NEEDED items.

We are at a stage where our 3-6 month stockpile MORE than replenishes itself every week.

I spend between $30-$40 weekly for 2 adults, and a teenage son and four dogs. I have only been super couponing since May and have a great stockpile, but still building on it. I also am able to donate alot of food. I can't believe I used to spend $120-$150 a wk-I have cut my grocery bill by 75% and have more food than I ever thought about having!!! Thank goodness for coupons!!!

Tell me about it, how did I not know about this before? I can't believe the things that I have in my cupboards with little money out of pocket.

Right before I started learning from HCW we were spending about $25/person/week. Now we spend $10-$12/person/week. I just love HCW!

I don't set a budget for each person. I have never added it up. But we figure out our bills each week and then figure out how much I can spend at the store. I try to us a coupon for everything I buy. Some weeks I don't even need to shop. My son is getting ready to turn 17 soon and he has a job. just recently I started making him buy His personnal things.

His case of weekly pop
his deodorant
shampoo
cologne
body wash

I also make him use coupons, so he doesnt spend to much money. lol. He might spend $10 a week. He is even proud of his savings. He doesnt know a life with out coupons..

There is only 3 of us so it doesnt cost much to feed us as long as I us coupons. I have been using coupons so long now that if I don't have them with me no matter where we are at my hubby will drive home just so I can get them. I'm lucky most of the stores here double coupons and some of them will superdouble coupons once a month. The dollar stores even take coupons. But I have noticed that even their prices has gone up.

Our budget is between $10-$30 a week for the two of us, so $5-$15 per person. If there are a lot of free items it will be $10, if not between $15-$30. We are lucky because my boyfriend works for food distributor so he buys meat from work. If it's not on sale we don't buy it, unless its milk, eggs, or bread. We don't get fresh fruit, or veggies really. This week I spent $26, and that was with a lot of Christmas gifts. We get really great deals, but I feel like we don't even have the money to eat healthy.

I don't have a budget, either. It goes by what's on sale or what I need. One week it may be $50.00 all together and the next it may be $100.00. This has been a good thread. I am definitely going to set up a budget and stick with it. I think the envelope system would help me tremendously.

I definitely have some room to improve! There are 4 of us and a small dog. My grocerry budget is usually around $100 per week - so around $25 a person. However, I have been trying my hardest to eat healthy and cook with fresher ingredients...so that has upped our budget lately. There really aren't a whole lot of great coupons for fresh veggies or even healthy food. We are well stocked on all the household items.

I don't have a budget (buy whatever is really cheap/free as it is on sale), but when I look back at what I usually spend, it is about $20/week per person for 2 adults. This includes everything from food, food for 2 cats, paper products, and personal care items. If it wasn't for the spoiled cats, it would be even lower :) Unfortunately I still can't kick the eating out habit, and that usually adds about $30 week in total for one decent dinner out.
