$25 per person (3 people)
This includes household/personal supplies AND stockpiling items.
We have one in diapers.
Coupons do not help stay in budget with our plan; it helps us stockpile within our budget range.
Snack foods are limited to 1 reusable bag worth for the entire family. I often buy generic snack foods.
We are completely stockpiled on our vegetables, pork, beef, chicken, canned goods, cereals, boxed dinners, rice, beans (dry/canned), noodles, sauces,
So our weekly staples are:
Milk (1/2g whole, 1/2g skim or chocolate, quart soymilk for me) $4
2 loaves of Bread $3
2 bags of Shredded Cheese $3.50
Beverages (soda, crystal light, whatever is requested) $10
Fruit or Vegetables (fresh/canned/frozen) $5
Diapers $6 (if we're good, it is saved till a good stockpile opportunity presents)
Snack Foods $6
Total staples: $37.50
My remaining $37.50 goes toward items that are at stockpile prices or NEEDED items.
We are at a stage where our 3-6 month stockpile MORE than replenishes itself every week.
