We did a little back-to-school shopping this morning at Walmart. Most of their stuff was not out (including sale stuff), but here are some good deals that we did find:

Cra-Z-Art colored pencils 12 count .75
plastic ruler .35
Elmer glue stick (2 pack) .25
composition books .60
theme/spiral notebooks, 75 page .15

I was at WM near Raliegh, NC this weekend and found the following:

2pk glue sticks: .25
24 ct Crayola crayons: .25
Elmer's glue bottle: .25
12 ct colored pencils: .75
11 ct Classic wasable markers: .70
nice size desk calendar: $4.00

I didn't find the spiral notebooks and filler paper wasn't cheap enough yet. :)

Just got off the phone with Staples in Clarksville Indiana, and Penny Sales start here next Sunday! (07/12) You may want to try calling a few of your local stores to see if that is the case your area!

I haven't called my store, but this is what I'm reading online at various sites as well. Hopefully we'll get a sneak peek ad soon!

Those fashion pens look like they are Gel pens, so that SHOULD work!
