Good price on Powerade 32oz?

Got some today at Winn Dixie. This week, when you buy 10 (for $10), you get five free. I had a $5 off 15 coupon and a $4 catalina that I used, so I paid $1.90 for 15, including the tax (which was $.90). So, to break that down, I paid roughly $.13 for each bottle, including tax.

eta .. if you're able to go to a winn dixie, you can get 20 bottles (with your hangtag) for $10 plus tax. Buy ten bottles and get five free w/ your coupon AND five free w/ the winn dixie promo. That would be $.50 each bottle plus tax.

If you're close to a piggly wiggly, they often have the powerade for $.59-$.69 each. So, you'd either pay $5.90 for 15 w/ your coupon, or $6.90 for 15 w/ your coupon (plus tax). That would be .39 each or .46 each respectively.

I so totally wish we had a Mejir, Winn Dixie, or Piggly Wiggly!!

We have Walmart, Target, Kmart, Walgreens, IGA, Schnucks, Dierbergs, Shop & Save, Aldi's and SaveALot. I'll check the price at Target, especially since I'm trying to avoid Walmart totally.

Shop & Save has the Powerades on sale this week for 3/$2. I'll be stocking up there as much as I possibly can.
3/$2 = $10 for 15 or 67c each - $5/15 = $5/15 or 33c each
I plan to get 30 Powerades when I head to S&S in a bit as part of my $50 total (before Qs). Then they take $10/50, I have another $5/50 Q, as well as a $10 cat from last week's sale. I'd love to be able to go in and get the whole $50 in Powerade but I doubt any of the 4 stores near me will have 75 Powerades (or that they'd let me get 75 in one transaction!)! If they would, I'd walk out with 75 Powerades for 25cents!

On second thought, I'm going to call the S&S stores and talk to a manager to see if any will allow me to buy 75 in one transaction!

I just got off the phone with the Store Director who told me that coming in to buy 75 Powerades in one transaction will not be a problem! He ended the conversation with a reminder that if I come in today I'll save an additional $10 on my purchase. :h ysterical:

Off to S&S to get 75 Powerades for 25cents plus tax!!!
