Fabric Softener...which is cheaper: Sheets or Liquid?

Ive been using the Bounce Bar and love it. I dont think I will be buying sheets or liquid again.

I really like the smell of this thing... but it keeps unsticking itself from my dryer!


As far as fabric softner, I think sheets are cheaper.

You could try those new arm and hammer combo things.

I probably should update this. When I posted it, I was running low on sheets, and couldn't find a good sale on them. A lot of stores in my area kept running sales on the liquid, so I tried it. But a bottle of liquid doesn't last nearly as long as a box of sheets, and I paid about the same for it. So...when my Bounce bar is done, I'll go back to sheets. In the meantime, I'm still looking for a good stock-up sale price!!

In todays Redplum there is a coupon for $3.00 off Snuggle. Right now at Kmart Snuggle is $3.25 so .25 per bottle + tax. At Target it is 3.99 so .99 a bottle. At both stores the bottles are over the required 32oz. HTH someone

Ugh! I'm so mad I bought three at Target today. I need to go Kmart!

I cut up sponges and put in a plastic tub ( I use and old cascade tub) - then put in fabric softener and lots of water. Ring the sponges out and toss them in the dryer with clothes.
I normally use 2 to 3 sponges a load, but we make double loads because of the front loader washer.
The sponges are like dryer sheets.
I haven't noticed any spots on the clothes.

That's exactly what I do. I use about 1 part softener to 4 parts water, and keep the solution in a recycled plastic container on top of my dryer. I only use 1 sponge per load, though. Just enough to keep the static down when I do have to use the dryer. (I line dry 99% of the time, either outdoors or on lines in my unfinished basement.)
