I have a small freezer and the fridge isnt huge either so that limits the frozen and fresh food I can buy. Panty is stuffed though - pasta and cereal to last a while and starting to overflow to the spare bedroom and basement! The US Postal Service is having their yearly food drive on May 9th - just leave bags of non-perishables by your mailbox and the mail carrier should take them. This is a good opportunity to donate some of your overflow.

I started to go through my pantry the other night, culling some overflow (boy, is there overflow! Too many triples events lately - never thought I'd say that!). But I stopped myself and decided I'd hang onto most of it a bit longer - as mentioned earlier, who knows what next week/month will bring, and we may need to just eat what's here instead of buying ANYTHING. Thankfully, even for our family of 10, I've got enough basics to last a LOOONG time.

Yes, I can say, at the moment, we're overwhelmed with good deals. Freezers (two full size and a fridge/freezer) and pantry (big, walk-in pantry) are FULL! And I'm thankful!

I'm sorry but I had to laugh!

I have definitely ran out of room! We live in a apartment and there isn't alot of storage. Thank goodness I don't see too many deals this week.

Not food-hba stuff, though. I just gave a bunch of food to my bro, BIL, & MIL, though so it dwindled my food stockpile & I'm broke for the next week or so--missing out on some good Cat deals right now!

We have a small deep freezer plus the one in the fridge and they are both too full. We just got a older fridge and freezer to set up in the garage. BF just added more cabinets in the kitchen and we are getting to build a small pantry(kitchen) and a hall closet(for HBA). My goal was to have a stockpile for the kids this summer because all four of us will be home, I'm a little over half way there. I give to my Mom, baby sister and BF has a challenged brother that just got moved out on his own(across the road from us) and I was able to set him up pretty good. I know I will be grateful for the stockpile when unemployment runs out(hopefully~fingers crossed, knocking on wood~ I will have a job and BF's lay-off will be over before that happens).

Yes, both my freezers and most of my cabinets are stuffed!! Every time I come in with more I wonder if I have room for it.

I have a ton of boxes of cereal and Peanut Butter, plus every time Kroger has their bread 10/$10 I get more!! We go through a lot of bread though. ;)

I'm overflowing too. I recently found out a couple neighbors have been laid off so I'm goign to give them some of the free pasta and salad dressing I got in the last few weeks - and problaby through in some kellogg's cereal! I'm begging everyone to eat more so I can have room in case a great deal comes along! What a nice switch from "sorry - that's all we have tonight - eat some popcorn to fill up."

I feel this way sometimes when I buy a lot of 1 item and it takes a lot of shelf space. I bought 25 pace salsas (free after Q) about 6 months ago and they were a pain to store. We have very little cupboard space and due to extreme heat have to have all food in the house, so I can sometimes feel overwhelmed by large quantities of 1-4 items. However, in 6 months, we only have 2 salsas left! I know that we will eat whatever I buy but sometimes it does feel like too much.

I don't feel this way, but my DH does. He is constantly complaining about all the food/HBA in every nook and cranny. I have resorted to putting all the baby food and toddler snacks in their closets, but if I waited till they needed it; it would be too darned expensive.

I had 3 brown paper grocery bags of baby food...bought most of it during the K-mart doubles were it was free....well I have a 9 month old and 1 bag left. I think it may be just enough, but DH complained about "all that baby food, he will never eat it all." I knew he was wrong.

A few months ago I bought over 150 $.75/1 Beechnut Let's Grow coupons. That is 150+ Beechnut Let's Grow items that I got free (only paid tax). Most of the expirations are late 2010. With a 2 year old and a 9month old, I have no doubt it will all be eat! I am actually wondering if there will be anything left for my 9 month old by the time he can eat it. My 2yr old loves the tubs, nibbles, and cookies! I send the cookies when it is our snack day at preschool also and my 9mo old is enjoying the bitter biscuits.

And I won't even talk about what is not in the kids closets...we have a very full large walk-in pantry and all the shelves over the W&D are stuffed with cereal. Oh, and I forgot that I have overflowed onto the shelf in the garage for juice and other drinks. And 3 different closets are partially full of HBA items, toilet paper etc.

Now that I write all this, I wonder if DH is right to be complaining!
