How many newspapers do you buy?

I currently buy 2, but should I be buying more? It always seems like people are using multiples of coupons, and I know that they probably trade and buy on ebay, etc, but I was just curious as to how many they are actually getting from the sunday paper.

I buy 2. I work at a convience store and any Sunday papers left over I am allowed to get the coupons from. So some weeks I end up with a lot more.

I buy 10. Plus I get coupons from my parents and a girl from freecycle who both deliver the paper, so I get their leftovers. I also pick up from 2-4 people every week off of freecycle. :D
I just found our local recycle center so when my sister moves to our town we will be getting a pass instead of paying for curbside pickup.. I plan to raid the paper part!

When I buy papers, I but 10. I only buy papers if there are enough coupons for me personally to use. The rest I will trade. If I am not interested in a whole lot, I'll just skip the whole week (saving money and time clipping/sorting/trying to trade) and try to get what I want on here.

Zero, unless it is a really great week with more than 2 inserts that have coupons I can really use or trade. Then I might buy up to 5. I collect leftover inserts from quite a few of my family members and that's enough for me, but I have been doing this a long time and have a big stockpile. I used to get the paper delivered AND buy a few extras AND get my family's leftovers when I was starting out.

This past week, I bought 20 papers because not only were there q's that I wanted to use but there were also q's that some other people I know wanted to use. Those savings combined made it worth it to shell out all the money to buy the papers. The rest I trade. Also I had a catalina that I needed to use so I actually only paid OOP for about 10 of them.

The prior week, I bought 8 papers b/c there were a lot of q's that I wanted to use.

Before that, there were one week, I bought 1 paper and another that I bought 4 papers. But other than that - I had not purchased a paper since August 2008 since I don't have the extra money to do so. But if my savings is far greater than the costs of the paper - I will. I need to buy the papers in order to get the good q's... I can't get extras of the good q's.

2 on the normal Sunday, 4 if there are great coupons that week! Then, of course, trade for more or buy off eBay :)

I dont buy any paper if there isnt anything good in them and 4 when there is, I buy at dollar store for 4.00 for all 4 papers

It all depends on how good the coupons are in for the week. I go to the Dollar Tree and buy the paper for 1.00 ea! The regular price at the store is 1.75, so it is almost like getting 2 for the price of 1!!

I try to get inserts other ways than from buying the paper.
Like today, for example, I got the inserts out of my neighbor's paper that was in their recycling bin. They always put it out and they always throw away the ads and coupons... so why not?

I posted on Freecycle ONCE asking for coupon inserts, and now a man saves them all for me, every week, so I get more that way. I was so excited!
