Does anyone else do this...

When I don't have money to shop, I try not to look at HCW...it makes me sick that I can't get the deals. I get paid every other week and sometimes (like this week) I only get through the first week and then I am broke!
But here I am, glutten for punishment, peeking at everything that I am missing out on...
Just wondering if anyone else tries not to look when money is too tight to shop... ??

Totally agree! Even if I have money but know there isn't time to sneek in another deal trip I try to stay away from the forums. It is painful to see what I can't get.:sad: Whats worse is that I have raided my change stash to try to come up with the money and taken in pop cans(we have .5 deposit here). Nothing like an hour finding cans to get that great deal on some soap!(Which I need after picking up the cans!) Am I sick?

I try not to look when I don't have the money, but I can't help myself. It's an addiction!! Between this and facebook......I feel like I can't get anything done!!

I am definitely with you on this. My husband is on disability (check once a month that basically goes ALL to bills) and I work at home, no more than about 20-25 hours per week if I am lucky. I get paid every other week and that has to take up the slack for bills, gas and groceries to try and get by another two weeks, etc. I can't do all these CVS deals (for instance) because I need the discounts/ECB to be taken off the purchase immediately. I can't pay $x.xx and earn $x.xx ECB to be used later. Normally, we do not get much at CVS in the first place so the ECB's would not do much, if any, good on the same day we are in the store shopping. :shrug7:

OP, I now what you mean. I get paid every other week also & it seems like the deals aremostly on "my" second week when I dont have much $. I will scrounge for change & take back the pop cans for the refund, also.

Stay away from HCW?? Never!

When I really literally had no money- I raided my purse, car, and sofa for all the spare change I could get my hands on. Took it to the store with all my free coupons and had a session of 'retail therapy' (as my DH calls it, since I'm always happier after I do)

Then I came here to look for other freebies, samples, and moneymakers. Then poked around the internet to fill out some surveys to kill time and earn some paypal money.
