Default Question about meal planning for organic shoppers

As we've been switching to more organic foods, I've realized that it's harder to plan meals based on sales. The ads I've looked at show very few organic foods on sale. Many times when I get to the store there are more on sale, but it's hard to think of meals while standing in the aisle at the store.

We have no stockpile to pull from (because we're in a motor home) and no space to stock up on super deals, so I just have to deal with what the prices are when I go to the store. Because I would like to be able to plan better.

So what do you do? Right now I haven't been able to find any stores focused on Organics/All Natural. We haven't been near a Whole Foods or Trader Joes, so it's been Kroger or whatever grocery store is in the town we find ourselves in.

Default Re: Question about meal planning for organic shoppers

I wish I could help you. Meal planning has made a huge impact on how much I spend at the grocery store. I don't know how I ever did without it. I wasted so much money!! But the grocery stores in my small town offer very little in the way of organics and have just begun to spotlight gluten free items. I don't really have a need for the gluten free stuff, but some more organic options would be nice. I hope you find someone who has some good info for you.

I have, but haven't had the chance to ask about this.
