    Yay Hannaford's, lol.

Its funny that these core items haven't changed since my mom used coupons back in the 80s. One day maybe people will start listening and things will shift.

My grocery store sent me coupons this month but they aren't as good as the ones I would get before I started couponing.

My dh tells me that I am wasting my time couponing and scheming because those stores are not going to lose money and they are not going to give away stuff for free.

“You’re getting less for the same price.”

isn't that the truth! Smaller cereal boxes, less to a package and I just noticed that Coke has 20 pks now. SAME PRICES!

    6. “Our loyalty cards help us cater to our biggest spenders...”
    7. “...but they’re not always your best bet for big savings.”

I truly dislike my Walmart. I really don't think their prices are better at all. Not when I can double a coupon at Kroger. Some things are less than Kroger but doubling the coupons is what makes Kroger a better choice for me for grocery shopping.
    .....Mexi ...

Ever forget your coupons at home? run back home to get them!

This is the worst advise I have ever seen:

Also, grab the smallest cart that will hold all your items,
Um, how many stores have more than one size of cart?? Around here there are two: Hand basket (yeah right) or mega-size cart.

Well, he's wrong, and right. YOU aren't wasting your time, and you can get lots of stuff for free...but the stores don't lose out, they're reimbursed.

We have the two tier smaller carts, and I'm spoiled to them now. I can just zip right along and they're great for us stockpilers that are doing mainly stockpile shopping.
I hate when they're not available because then I have to "drive' those big lumbering grocery carts and of course then everything falls to the aea underneath the childseat....see I'm spoiled and whiny
