Organizing coupons for trade
This is a question for anyone who keeps multiple inserts/coupons for trades. How do you have them organized? Do you have a system for filing so you can find certain coupons quickly?
Since I dumpster dive, I get so many multiples. Right now, I have the inserts separated and keep like pages together. That does makes it easier, except I have a giant stack that I look through whenever I need to find some. Invariably, the ones I want are near the bottom of the pile.
Even though I know it would take quite a bit of work, I'm thinking about clipping them all. Then using paperclips to keep like coupons together and storing them all in clasp envelopes with the contents written on the outside of each one.
Does anyone use that type of system? What system works the best for you?

Re: Organizing coupons for trade
I clipped for a little bit, if you do, staple ea like together & put them in a ziplock bag & mark the dated/insert type on the bag. I didn't clip all for long, it was too much wasted energy. Though it killed me, I came to the realization that they just plain weren't going to all get used.

Re: Organizing coupons for trade
That's a good point. It would be a huge waste to have clipped the ones that never got traded before they expired. Maybe I should stick with the page idea instead-- but find a way for locating them faster. Thanks for the input!
