Oh, mine had to be the Huggies wipes at Target... I was stocked good with those... people thought I was nuts. Unfortunately, my daughter still isn't potty trained, and I need to buy more wipes.

Those Kraft q's were great, I have a couple of other favorites too:

The Bic Soliel at WAGS was nice, I got some of those twisty light up Christmas trees with the overage, boy oh boy was that nice, I waited 3 years to get myself a set of those, THANKS WALGREEN'S

And then, my grocery store put Welch's sparkle juice (as I call it, the one that is a bubbly juice cocktail type yum yum in the glass bottle) on sale for 2/$3 and we had double q's on Wednesday and I got them for -.50 each!!!!! Thanks Pick N Save for the grocery help that week!!!

Great thread, keep 'em coming!

Default Re: Favorite Deal of 2008

Here are my favs...some have been mentioned --they were goodies!
  1. The glade cats were my most lucrative--I made TONS of money with these...and am using the glades in my gift baskets!
  2. The Wags diaper deal--I think my OOP was .07 per pack--I was able to donate and add enough to my existing stockpile that will hopefully last until potty training!
  3. The $5/30 coupons in June/July at Publix--I did so many small transactions I am sure the cashiers hated me...but paying cents OOP for each transaction was well worth it!!
  4. The .99 Cottonelle at Kroger--I have built a stockpile of TP that should last years...the best thing is I basically replace the weekly used pack for free everytime I shop!
  5. My 1st Triples at Ingles - using the powerade overage for free groceries and getting the free dasani 24 packs at the same time!!
  6. Free Kellogg's cereal at Publix using MQ $1/1 and 1/1 FLIP--we will not need cereal for a while!
  7. Kraft All You Q's--I think I just opened my last pack of cheese from those babies (amazing since we go through massive quantities of cheese!)
  8. Martha White muffins recently at Publix--I think I have 70 packs for an OOP of less than $2...should last a while!
  9. GM fruit snacks BOGO at Publix w/ MQ and Target IP...I think we are down to about 50 boxes
  10. Ketchup--BOGO with $1/2 and FLIP and voila 40 bottles of ketchup as well as overage!!
  11. Huggies Cleanteam--perfect for my potty trained kiddo and great for the diaper bag--still over 60 packs left!
  12. Free Buddies--we will never run out of these...I have a feeling my kids will be 10 years old and still using them!
  13. Downy at Publix for .49 with 2/1 store Q and MQ
  14. Voila meals for overage at Publix and getting free Charlie Brown movies on top of it!!
I am sure there are a million more but those are my favs that come to my head!

I bought a large number of Powerade and Powerade Zero at Giant Eagle.

10 for $10. Becomes 10 for 5 if you purchased x number of Powerade Zero, and a catalina would print at the end of the order for save $4 on your next order. I paid $5.30 for the first 10 bottles and $1.30 thereafter

Definitely the P&G Walgreen's deal. Buy Olay beauty bar on sale for $2, use a $2 coupon, pay tax and walk out the door with a $10 RR. I do forget how many you had to buy, maybe 5?? I used some of my RR (before you had to match RR and coupons to number of items) to get a swimming pool, on sale for $50, got a $20 ESR on it, $22 counting the 10% CG bonus. I should have totaled everything but I estimate I had about $1000 worth of merchandise for the tax on it minus the ESR on the pool for a total of $38.
This was the deal that made my nephew think I was shoplifting all my goodies. He overheard my sister remark to me how I was stealing stuff from these stores. A month or so later during my yard sale, he asked me if I wasn't afraid of getting arrested. Confused, I asked him what for and he said cause you stole all this stuff! Took me a minute to get him straightened around and then I took him shopping with me so he could fully understand that Aunt Debbie was doing legitimare purchases.

I have to agree that the Kraft deal was the best for me. I lucked up on 100 of these q's, 25 of each different one. I have more koolaid still that I dont have a clue what I am going to do with it all. We are still eating hotdogs, salad dressing and crystal light. Thank goodness my kids like wheat thins!

My favorites were:
-Olay soap at Walgreens: that paid for a lot of toilet paper and paper towels
-Huggies wipes Target Deal. My son is a year old and I still have tubs left possibly for next child.
-Glade catalina at grocery store: that paid for a lot of my meat purchases

I hope 2009 brings as many awesome deals.
