Sale Price Cheat Sheet

Stores often list prices as "5 for $10" or "3 for $8" instead of listing the price. I find it helpful to read the grocery ads with my cheat-sheet nearby so that I can keep the real price in mind when I shop.

Here are some sale "prices" converted to the price for one item.
I wrote this list to be looked up by quantity listed so 3/$1 means "3 for $1"

this is a great sticky. I have never been good at math and the other day I was helping my mom figure out the Kraft deal, and I was so quick at the numbers, she had to stop and laugh at me.

Help me somebody. I'm trying to add another column after the one on the left that shows equivalent fractions, but I don't know enough HTML to get the formatting right

so

2/$3 should have 4/$6 in the next column

You could do it this way:

2/$3 or 4/$6 = $1.50

LOL, very ironic! Have you tried CVS math?
