I usually only use about 10, but it just depends. I'm new to couponing, so just getting started.

I selected 16-30 but it varies. I live right next to the only "real" grocery store in town (still trying to decide if thats a good thing or bad thing). We have Super K-mart and Super W-Mart but it is about a 15 min drive for me so I stick with this grocery store. They double coupons up to .99 plus you earn fuel discounts, so I go to the store ALMOST once a day. I try not to, but it has become a habit. If we need something instead of "oh well we can have something else" it's "well let me run to the store real quick." I usually use atleast one coupon on my daily visits but Sunday's are my big shopping days. Today I only used about 20 coupons but it wasn't a huge shopping week for me. There have been times when there have been some good sales and I used 80-100 coupons. I tend to pick and choose my cashier's. Most of the same ppl work on Sunday's so of course I have my select favorites :) I will wait in a huge line to get a nice cashier that doesn't mind all the coupons. To me it is worth it. I also tend to warn ppl behind me with only a few things that this may take a while. I do get my huffy puffy ladies that make a big stink about it. I am sorry..if you are in that big of a hurry, stop at a convient store ..not the grocery store. ;)

The number I use varies, but I tend to have a coupon for at least 66-75% of the items in my order. So I can have only 6 or 7 coupons for a 10 item order OR like today, 25 coupons for a 30 item order.

How do you not get people annoyed when they are waiting next in line??? I had many coupons to take to the store a couple of weeks ago and at first the guy behind me was getting annoyed, but by the end he was cracking jokes and interested in how many people I was feeding at home. Mostly I get the impatient, annoyed people though and although I let people ahead of me if they don't have much........eventually I still have to pay.

I'm lucky in that all my stores have self-scan registers for large orders, not just express. If someone is behind me waiting at self-scan, I nicely apologize for having so many coupons and usually say something about having to pay for college in two years LOL

I HATE going through a regular lane!

I use about 50 coupons per trip but I shop at two different grocery stores each week to get the best deals. So 50 coupons per trip per store is about 100 coupons a week for grocery shopping. Drug stores vary depending on what week it is & which one I am going to. I rarely buy anything that doesn't have a coupon of some sort or a rebate or a 15% off your total order or a free gift when you buy, etc.

On a good week, 1 per item. I try and break my trips into small loss leader sales so I don't have to have the manager over ride. On a not so good week about 1/2 of the items I buy. So around 20?
