I have one store near by me that doubles up to five coupons that are worth up to $1 each. However, you also have to spend $25, and it's only on Wednesdays, so I don't go there often. I don't double my coupons a lot, I just combine promotions with coupons. B1G1 free promotions with coupons tend to save me lots of money.

Where do you live? What food stores do you shop at? That determines the price of your stuff a lot.

This sounds like Copps/PickNSave with the double 5 up to $1 on Wednesdays. However, you don't need to spend $25, you just need to get your total up to $25 after store discounts/store coupons.
So if your total after your Copps card equals $25.05, and you have 5 $1 coupons, that is $10 off your $25.05 total.
If you also have other coupons IE Free, or BOGO or even cents off everything you have in your cart, you can end up spending lots less.
I go there on Wednesday early in the morning. They are more likely to not have run out of certain products, since Wed is also the last day of the weekly sale.
Last week my OOP was $11.12.

No, I don't double coupons a lot. Only one of the stores near my house doubles coupons (only up to five of them), but you can only do it on Wednesdays, and you have to buy $25 worth of stuff. So, I usually just wait for the good deals and use coupons. Cheap prices with B1G1 free coupons and ____ off coupons usually help me get stuff really cheap or free. I live near a couple Cub Foods stores, and they take coupons up to three months past their expiration date, and that helps a lot, as I can wait for the good deals longer.

EDIT:

Sorry, I posted twice! I thought that my other wasn't posted, so I rewrote it.

I don't get less than $1.00 a box of cereal, so that's my threshold, and we usually end up with Cheerios or Life Cereal.

$1.88/lb cheapest I've seen Chix Breast Here

Milk is $2.50 - $2.99 a gallon if I buy it at Costco or 7-Eleven. This week I'm getting it for $1.99/gallon at Thriftway.

I figure if I get more stockpile of the non-perishable for less than a dollar, then I can spend more on the fresh veggies, fruits and milks.

DH has given me a new bottom line for paper towels for the next year: they must be a money-maker - either directly or need to buy them free to get something else free. Zero oop or better. He figured we only use 1 roll per week and we have nearly a 2 year supply. He said he will re-evaluate at the winter holidays because I insist we use 2 rolls per week and we only have a 1 year supply. Either way, says he, we have NO MORE ROOM!

So with the cvs deal on all HE laundry detergent is considered a pretty good deal right? It seems like it is always gone before i get to the store when it is bogo free, at the store by my house it is 6.19 so it would b 4.19 after 2 1/1 coupons. Is this a stock up price? I really need to get the he kind, but have been using some baking soda in the soap dispensier w/the purex i got for .99 a bottle some months back, which helps w/the suds, of course then i need to buy the baking soda, so i figure it is best to just get the he kind if i can.

Wait, I thought Purex was ok for front loading washers and regular washers. Maybe I'm wrong?

Anyways, I think that $4.19 is still expensive if it only has 26 to 32 loads. If it is 50 or so, not bad, but otherwise, not really.

Do you have a havelist and wishlist MamaBird06?
