Mine too! I started a price book but now after time I realized I can store most of it in my head.

And I know a good price when I see it

Another good way to guesstimate when you are starting out-- aim for 50% of regular retail. Then, when you get better, make it 60%, etc.

A good rule of thumb for me is to save at least 75% overall on every bill. I get pissy if I have to pay more than that.

It doesn't take long once you keep buying the same type of products. I kept working on a price book but keep telling myself I didn't need to spend the time on doing one.

My problem now seems to be I can't keep myself pulled away from the stores when there is a great deal. And paying JUST $0.02 per mile I drive makes it even worse because I can keep going back and going back and going back to the stores.

If you think you can taste the difference between brands, wait a day or two without eating anything else - get yourself really hungry - and you won't be able to distinguish any of them.
I can totally tell the difference- we eat the skippy natural- after eating it- all the others feel really oily. I'm picky about PB- that's why i stock up when on sale & have coupons!
