What's a good price for sour cream? I don't buy it often, but may buy some for appetizers for my sisters baby shower. This week it is on sale at a local grocery store that doubles. Daisy sour cream for 1.68 or something, i have .45/1 coupon that will double making it .77 for 16 oz, is that a good deal??

$.10 a diaper? How are you doing that? I am a new couponer and I have been getting my diapers at Costco for almost $40 for a box of 208. That's almost twice what you pay.

If you can get your hands on the Electrosol power tabs coupon $250/1. Target has them on sale after the coupon they are .75 cents. I started serioulsy couponing back in August. I have never seen dishwasher tabs that cheap. That would be a good one to stock up on right now. Between Wags and CVS you can get a free tubes of toothpaste just about every week. Shampoo the same. Hang onto all your high dollar razor Q's they have been cheap or free for months and it doesn't seem to be letting up. Latley make-up has been extremely cheap or free. As for your grocery store I cant help you cause I dont have a Smith's. Maybe someone will stumble upon your post that shops there. Under the Target Forum a thread was started on a list of every dept. and there markdown trends from years past. Hope that was helpful.

charmin I can't get below 4.99 with coupons for the double 12 pack. But I love it. I have been getting suave lotion for free. It is in small tubes, but with 30 coupons I now have 30 small tubes of lotion. Body wash I have paid between free- 67 cents for one. My dh cleared out target and two walgreens of the electrasol tabs I have never seen the price so low either. I have been getting frozen vegetables from free-27 cents a bag. I have only been couponing for about 2 months.

If your K-Mart does the double coupon days, Tylenol 24 gelcaps are usually $4.49 and with the $2.00 off coupons they double making them .49 per box. Trick is to find the high dollar coupons and hang on to them. Grab the weekly ads and read, read, read! I used the $3/2 coupons for Johnson & Johnson First Aid products at Wal-Mart and was getting packages of gauze for .06 per box, the tapes were a little more at .47 per roll. Good stuff for the first aid kits. Hydrogen Peroxide at Wags for .50 is pretty good to me because the shelf life is usually a couple to three years. Well, just a few ideas from me. I bet some of the moms with little ones have the best suggestions on baby food deals and diapers.

free = toothpaste, shampoo/conditioner, body wash/soap, medicine (unless something needed immediatly which we don't have), hand sanitizer, lotion, hand soap, face wash (that is until I finally found one that I liked), make up/nail polish, tooth brush, mouth wash, feminine pads, etc., peanutbutter (I have way too much otherwise it would be in the $1 category),

items for < or = to $1 = salad dressing, croutons, spaghetti sauce, pasta (got it for free last time, that was a great deal), soups (not tomato soup), lea and perrins worchershire sauce, boxed cold cereals,

campbell's tomato soup = $.30 last year, this year more like $.35 or $.40/can
orange juice = $1.77/.5 gallon or less
bacon = $2.50 or less
canned veggies = $.50 (though I'm finding it cheaper now)
frozen potatoes (fries, etc) = $1 (or$1.50?) for 32 oz.
canned tomatoes = free - $.10
gaterade/powerade 20 oz bottle = free
condiments = varies ... some free, most in the $1 category, others not sure of

those are the things that I can remember or are near by. Sometimes I miss a sale and pay more, other times I'm luck (like the last time I bought pasta) and stumble upon a GREAT deal. The great deals I try to make the most of. I also use extra Walgreen's money, made from other deals and loaded on the card, or extra/expiring ECB's to buy some stuff that normally might be too high but then ends up costing me nothing or pennies out of pocket.

What is a good deal on a box of Kraft Mac & Cheese? Walmart has them for .50 cents a box and they are normally .74

Looks like a good deal. I don't recall finding any qs for this in the past year or two.

Hi Heidi,

Where do you find coupons for meat? I have never seen them except for the peal off ones at the store.

Thanks.
