.45 cents after triple coupons. I'm thinking $1.15 may be a good price in LOND.

I want to say free. I loaded up last fall...found a good coupon & loaded up about 10 jars. (Jif). But I doubt I'd pay more than .50 for a good quality, 18 oz size.

I thought $.90 was a good deal but I guess not. PB is expensive here and rarely goes on sale.

How I wish buying 10 jars was loading up. We go through one or two 18 oz. jars each week. Yep, we LOVE peanut butter.

How many people eat peanut butter at your house? That's a lot of peanut butter! Do you also have a stockpile of laxatives?

My kids love peanut butter. So I'm always on the prowl for cheap. I think the cheapest I find is $.07/oz. So a 40oz jar of GV peanut butter is ~$2.79, which sounds about right. Would love to find it cheaper. I think I did once, when I had a coupon for free bread wyb 2 jars of jif. But otherwise, that's what I wind up paying. Other brands seem to be more expensive, even with coupons. No doubles, here. Though I haven't matched it up with a publix B1G1F, which they have sometimes. I usually don't have enough coupons to make it worth the trouble.

My local IGA runs Peter Pan at $.99 for 18 oz. two to three times a year. I've got coupons this week that will make it $.715 per jar. In the LOND, that's about the best I can do.

Well, the first tool for the skippy that will be onsale came out this weekend in that there were .35/1 coupons. Hoard them if you need PB cause within 2 weeks, skippy will be onsale everywhere. Great if you have doubles or triples. Sad cause in years past, this coupon has always been .50/1. Last year, the sale at the safeway stores if you remember was 10 for $15 and if you bought all 10 you got a $5 catalina off your next order, or maybe it was an instant $5 off, something like that, bringing them down to 10/10 - .50/1 coupons made them 10/5 - doubles in my area (you get 4 doubles) made them 10/3 or .30 each.

So watch and gather, cause the sales are coming!

Three of us eat peanut butter almost every day, and no laxatives, as our bodies are accustomed to eating nuts and beans. Cheese is another story, and we don't eat it on a regular basis.

My best price is 17 cents per jar, for the standard smallish jars (not the super-small ones, KWIM?) That was....some time this winter, I think in January. Of course, the kids stopped eating PB about then, go figure. I stocked up on 10 jars, I think I still have 8 left.....will probably donate most of them to the food bank soon, before they expire.
