I started in January, and I think I have enough toothpaste for months already. I LOVE knowing that I will NEVER have to pay $3 a tube AGAIN!!!! Now, I've GOT to get the cereal deals going...

I don't get snacks/junk food unless it is free or they pay me to take it. Lately I have been passing up free junk food and only get it if I can get overage. I still have lots of red, white, and blue M & M s from 4th of July (and not last year).

I have to be honest get some because of my doubles but don't have triples in my area so hang in there some great deals will come your way. There is threads of the LOND ( Land of no doubles) where they still get great deals.

I've been couponing in central Iowa since last summer. I have never seen free toilet paper or cereal. So my price points on those are $0.17/roll or 0.34/double and 0.50/15 oz for cereal we like and 1.00/15 oz for favorite cereals.

There is a rock bottom price thread in the stockpiling forum. Like free, it varies from person to person.

hair styling products
makeup (I never even wore makeup until the recent Jane deals!)
lotion
deodorant for me (Husband has picky skin)
toothpaste
toothbrushes (my original price point was $0.25, and I bought a handful at that price so I wouldn't have to worry about paying full price while I looked for better deals.)
baby wipes (I don't have a baby. I don't go though them quickly and can wait for the great deals.)
razors for me (Husband is brand loyal and I make sure I don't pay more than 0.50/refill blade for him)
junk food
food for the outdoor cats (indoor cats we keep on the same food all the time)
cat treats

Great thread! I need to learn to have some patience, esp. for deoderant, toothpaste, and TP. I've yet to get these things for free, but I know that time will come... I just am impatient about it.

I can't wait to get an item for free! I've been couponing for about a month and so far the most I discounted my bill is by 50% I was so happy that day, but after reading you here my goal is to save a lot more.

Only recently did I run into doubling. Winn Dixie is doing it everyday! I don't think anyone around here triples.

The doubling definitely caused me to focus more on grocery items.
