HELP with coupons

To make a LONG story short, a few months ago a friend of mine got fired from Wal-Mart over using the $5 Polly Pocket coupon. Remember those, they were in a PDF file and you could print as many as you wanted?? Well because she used her discount card they were able to track her purchases. She bought 4 at one time, had them in separate transactions and the cashier put them all together. Well Wal-Mart said that you are only able to print 1 coupon and only EVER use 1 coupon because it says one per customer. So with that I then ask that if I bought 5 Sunday papers and got all the inserts and 2 of the coupons were exactly the same, am I not able to use to all of the same coupons ever??? Her response was, hold on to your seat lol, that if it says one per customer then you are only allowed to use that coupon one time EVER!!!!
What do I do???? She was from the District office and has worked there 18 years, so she told me. And she hung up on me!!! Talk about unprofessional!!

well, duh, if you use the 1 q on the purchase, and they take the Q, at the end of the order; you no longer have the Q, to use again. duh.

so you are using only 1 Q each for, for one time.

Maybe change your tone of voice, and redirect it another way???

For instance if I have a $3.00 Planters coupon and it says one coupon per customer than I can only ever use a $3.00 Planters coupon ever. It doesn't matter if I get another one in a train or from a trade, that I can't ever use a $3.00 Planters q. I know it sound so ridiculous but those are the words from her mouth!

So, what are they going to do if you try to use another one?? They can't arrest you for using coupons that are legally printed. Either the scanner will take it, or it will not.
I don't even discuss coupons with the cashiers or anyone unless they give me grief.
Then I take my business elsewhere and tell them so!
I had a cashier at RA try to mess me over on some coupons today but I stood my ground and she gave me the credit for it.
Have you called the CORPT office for clarification?

Well she certainly shouldn't have been rude to you and hung up.. but what are they going to do?... They would have to hire alot of people just for the purpose of keeping track of everyone's coupons so they could prove you've already used it once... lol.

OP, you won't see many Qs that actually say "one per customer." You will see that pretty much all of them say "limit one coupon per purchase" - which means that you can only use one manufacturer's coupon (from inserts, etc.) on EACH item purchased. So, if you buy 10, you can use 10 Qs, unless your store limits, which is their choice- and legally, they CAN limit quantities, coupons, etc. A few coupons will say "limit one per transaction." Those you can only use one per transaction/order. BUT, if the store allows it, you *could* use another one in a different transaction/order.
As for the person you spoke with- I'd just move on to the next store. If that's the level of intelligence you're working with (at the DISTRICT level), you can't really expect too much better of the lower level employees (store manager, asst mgrs, cashiers, etc).
Some people DID abuse the Polly Pocket Q, quite honestly. PDF files/coupons are not to be posted on HCW for that very reason, until/unless a Mod can receive verification from the manufacturer that it's a legitimate coupon and that there is no limit to the # of times it can be printed.

I don't trust the pdf coupons unless I got it directly from the mfr site or mfr email. I would rather not take the risk for saving a few dollars.

I don't even trust them from the mfr site! There was a free one for juice a few months ago, and the company decided not to honor it because they put it up by accident!
