Default No coupons in Sunday paper

For two weeks in a row now I have not received the coupon inserts. But there were always 2 target ads...I just started couponing and buy my paper at the local gas station. My local paper does not do discounted papers and I feel like the price of the delivered papers are outrageous. Plus I don't want to get the sales calls to sign up for the weekday papers a couple times a week.

I emailed them today and let them know that I have not gotten the coupons and feel like I should not have to LOOK through the paper to find coupons. They should be in there automatically.

What would you do? Am I wrong? Do you really have to look through the paper to make sure the coupons are in there?

Thanks in advance for your input!

This happens to me frequently as well.

I finally emailed my newspaper and received a response from their circulation dept explaining that they "don't receive enough from the company" that pays them to insert the coupons and have been instructed to make sure home delivery has them and "run out in single copy" papers.

For what its worth...... so I guess that means I should sign up for home delivery that way when I don't get the coupon inserts I can call and request another paper, right?!!!

HTH.

I always look to make sure....sometimes they do miss entire sections not just the coupons...I figure it's worth an extra few seconds to flip through that walk all the way home only to discover it's not there!

I would check the paper before you pay for it at the gas station to make sure everything is there.

In my city, the delivered price is less than the single copy price. Also, I want the Wednesday paper for the grocery ads. My local store, Bi-Lo, sometimes has triple coupons and they advertise that in the Wednesday and Friday papers. Needless to say, I subscribe to the newspaper so that I don't miss any of those ads. I also just like to keep up with the news.

HI Re: No coupons in Sunday paper

I live in a small town outside of orlando and i've noticed sometimes if I buy my local paper, it won't have all the inserts, but if I buy the orlando sentinal it's FULL of inserts!!!
You might want to see if your store sells a sunday paper for a larger area near you!!
And I went to CVS on tues. and bought this past sunday papers for .62 cents

Hopefully this helps
