Default How much do you all pay for Sunday Papers?

Since I moved here and started couponing in December we have had two newspapers in our very small town and they both had the exact same coupons. The only differnce is the Woodward paper which is a town about 30 min from here was only a $1 on sunday and had a walgreens ad plus all the coupons. And the Oklahoma City Paper dident have the walgreens ad and is $1.50 on Sunday. Well for about a month now they have stopped bringing the woodward paper at all during the week or on sunday. I called today and asked why they havent been comming here and when they will start again and the lady told me that because of the high gas prices the carrier quit. They said he was looseing money because of the gas and that honestly they wont be bringing the paper back here until gas prices go way down. So now that leaves me haveing to buy the $1.50 paper and it has no walgreens ad. I just think that is to high and I loved the $1 Paper lol. Anyway i just thought I would see what everyone else has to pay.

1.25 here, you could look at the walgreens ads early here and then when it is current it will be on the walgreens web site

unfortunately, our newspapers are frequently missing at least one of the scheduled inserts, it is a real hit or miss game!

Ugh - we pay $2.00 here - and I assure you The Arizona Republic leaves lots to be desired as a newspaper. I used to play a game where I circled all the typos and grammatical errors - although now most of the articles are AP so not as many errors!

We do get good Qs though (compared to some parts of the country).

New york city

DAILY NEWS $1.00
NY POST $1.00
NY TIMES $4.00 (LAST TIME I CHECKED)

Guess which one I DONT BUY,,LOL

I dont even know if the Times carries the coupons. I do know that a lot of the times, the news will have the smartsaver and the Post will have the redplum,or vice versa-- they usually dont have both in each

Walgreens posts their weekly circular on their website early Sunday mornings so you can look at it there. You can also click on the things you want to buy and print out a shopping list. I find this a lot better for me because here in New York City the Walgreens circular is only 8 pages and we dont get all the great deals posted on HCW, but it beats CVS, because here in Manhattan ,the weekly circular for CVS is only 4 pages of deals..Rite Aid is the only drugstore that gives us all the deals that they give the rest of the country

1.00-1.75 for the Morning Call (sometimes not the best q's)--depends where you buy it and who rings it up!

1.75 for The Intelligencer (always has all the good q's)

So I gusse the $1.50 isent that bad, I was just getting spolied by the $1 papers lol. I always look at the walgreens ad when its posted on here anyway but I liked looking at the paper ad to since sometimes they are a little bit differnt. Like we tend to get a little better pop prices then the ones posted on here.
