I was prego with the twins (like 7-8 months) up on my milk crate balancing the lid of the dumpster on my head, lol, when a cop rolled up and asked me what I was doing. I told the officer that I was a couponer and I was looking for coupon inserts from the Sunday paper. He said "what a great idea" we got to talking a little bit, and then he got out of his cruiser and helped me by holding the lid for me.

I guess its not illegal.

I almost got busted on Halloween a few years ago. I had just come from visiting my Grandma and passed a school that had a bin out front. Since I cannot pass up an opportunity I took a peek. My DH had been using my car for work (when is he not!) and there were a few paint cans in my trunk. I took them out and used them to stand on so I could reach way in the dumpster. Found a few inserts and started loading my car back up.

All of a sudden I see a cop pull in. My heart started beating, but I just got in my car and drove off (he didn't actually see me doing the deed so I thought it would look like I had been dumping my papers) I got about a mile when he zooms up behind me and flashes his lights! I was so scared! I pulled over and he comes up and starts shining his light in my car and asks me what I was doing. I said recycling my newspapers sir. He asks me to open my trunk and I did. He went and looked and then came back to my window and asked where I had been. I was like, my Grandma's house sir. I am on my way home :) and he stood there and goes were did all these paint cans and construction stuff come from and I thought WTH does that have to do with anything, but said they are my DH's, he has been using my car for work. The cop mulled this over and said alright you can go, I pulled you over because they are doing construction at that school and I wanted to make sure you weren't a vandal! It's Halloween and kids do crazy things.

Moral of the story, don't go DD on Halloween!

Ok you guys are making me feel better ....lol...our cops are not so busy and just LOVE to harass people!

I will do my best not to be paranoid next time...or I can just blame Maree Strawberry!

But I still hope some more people post~ I love to hear the stories...Wow pregnant with TWINS!!! My Oh My!!
