I'd call the kid up and say "Oh wow honey, thanks for dumpster diving for the coupons because I couldn't get there to do it myself. That was so sweet of you. I'll be right over to get my share." Quickly hang up the phone and head on over.

Or if you want to be really mean ...let all the cool cute girls at school know what he is up to and when. If they went by and caught him it would be the last time. JK

Or, sneak up on him when he's in the dumpster and take a picture. Then post it on his myspace/facebook page!

Well I work @ K-mart and she always puts a note on the coupons because she puts them in their little shead for me to get and it say~s for Jessica the lady who works @ k-mart and the lady is lieing to the other workers and saying I am Jessica who works @ k-mart and takes my coupons...I can`t really say anything to her even if I catch her because I am afraid she will tell on the nice lady who get`s them out for me because she is not supost to be doing that:( I have no clue what to do all the other centers are so far away from me and I don`t have time to pick them out so I can`t go some where elts she should move:)I just can`t belive it and also she says she goes to the little shead to get some drink and they pull up she sets her 10 yr. old DD out and says go get them she runs in the big trailer because while she is picking she lays them on a box until she is done and then puts them up the DD goes RUNS as fast as she can gets them and jumps in and they fly off....If she puts them up right away the lady waits untill she is off (the lady who gets them for me)when I am at work and tells the other workers that she is me:)how rude is that?

That IS terrible! I don't know what to tell you, unless you maybe pick a different spot for the lady to put them or something??

First off - How rude!

I guess this is the flip side of 'They want to know how we do it but don't want to actually have to do it themselves'. I couldn't imagine teaching someone and having them move in on my territory like that!

Pick a code word that will be on the note with instructions not to give them to anyone who doesn't know the code word... might work.

Sheesh... that's horrible... even though he's a teenager, it's not like he's a little kid who doesn't understand. I wouldn't even know what to do in your situation. I think for now, I think you should beat him at his own game (although free cpns only come once in a few inserts so missing out on this week stinks)... definitely get there before he does! It's like when someone started pulling inserts from my source, the only way I can get them is go before he gets there. Since this is a family member - that's interesting... i think if he had any manners at all, he would offer to share with you.

I guess in the end, it's all fair game, but it's really sad that he didn't even offer to share in thanks for all that you did to teach him. :( Maybe he just didn't realize it? if you spoke to him, or someone spoke to him, he would understand how "rude" it was?

Next time he asks you anything about coupons just be honest.

Ask why he thinks you should share any info, if he is going try to take over your spots and beat you out!
