January 2012 Survey Contest

I am a little late on posting this but better late than never. Time for another Survey contest!
This contest will start Jan 1 and go thru Jan 31. (Since I am just now posting - please include any money you made yesterday also).

Surveys and click to earn type sites are a great way to build a little extra cash. We are going to be keeping track of how much money we make this month from surveys.

If you want in on the contest just post here that you want in and starting Jan 1 let us know each time you do a survey, qualify, and make money. The person who has made the most money in surveys by midnight Jan 31 will be the winner. (This is on an honor system..so please play fair).

The winner will win your choice of $10 Amazon code, paypal, or concealed cash.

But wait....there will be another winner too! Remember, we want to find out how much money we are making from each survey company...so always come by and post when you make money on a survey...I will pick a random post at the end of the contest from each post that qualifies (must have name of survey company and amount received in post to qualify).

This person will win a $5 Amazon code, paypal, or concealed cash.

Edit to add: This would be a good time to sign up with some new survey companies. There is a list of recommended survey companies in the surveys forum.

You can start this contest at anytime even halfway thru Jan if you want....b/c one random post will win also!

I will keep track of total amount earned per contestant. (If ever I leave anything out ...just LMK). Good luck!!

RULES

1. If you enter from a survey company that pays in points you must be able to accurately post the dollar amount you would receive from these points. So if they pay say $10.00 for every 1000 points and you did a survey worth 50 points you might post like this:

Survey Spot - 50 points awarded= $0.50


2. Please keep your earnings to what you have earned in Jan only. For instance, if you earned lots of swagbucks in December and then cashed out in Jan you can NOT count that. Just count your swagbucks (and other sites earnings) from Jan

3. I really want us all to be on the same page with keeping track of our survey dollars. So the first time you post a survey site please list the conversion. I will post this in the original thread. Everyone should look in the original post for the conversions before calculating how much you made -- this way everyone will be using the same numbers. I will start off the list at the bottom of this page.

4. Please do NOT put referral links in this thread.

1 pt = $0.01

MyPoints
for ease of use, we say 5pts = $0.05. It's actually a little less than that depending on what prize you want.

Swagbucks
Again, for ease of use, we say 1 buck = $0.01.

It's a little hard with MyPoints and Swagbucks because everyone gets different rewards for different costs. So way back when, dliver decided on these conversions so that all challenge participants were keeping track the same way. HTH!
