Hey... I'm a longtime lurker finally jumping in here.

I keep hearing about Pinecone. Is that a invite only site? How do people get invites?

i went to a website here i think it was the pinecone- registered and than got lost in who knows how many p ages of the same thing over and over again - keep putting my informations in and don't even know what for.. and than i get so many e mails.. and withing 10 minutes got a phone call about education- even though i choose the option not to be called on my phone..
ugh ..
and than i got something i think like 16 question survey - and it says get a 250 $ wal mart card.. at the end after who knows how many questions - they are offering me to get 2- trials - listed there in order to qualify for the 250 $ card..
now i don't want to register for any trials/and or give my credit cards to who knows who .. is this how this stuff works ? or am i lost ?
help please

Ooh that sounds bad! Def a scam. You will have to tell me if you can remember what link you went through. It is def not the "real" pinecone,b/c that is one of the most legitimate companies out there.

That is not how legitimate survey sites work...you should never have to give credit card info. Look more thru the survey forum - there is a sticky on good survey companies that actually pay. LMK if I can be of any further help!

I used to do Pinecone...loved it for a couple of months until they suddenly stopped sending me anything. Now my favorite is Synovate. Many of the surveys pay rather well, there's a lower cashout compared to some of the survey sites, and you get 100 points even if you don't qualify for the survey.

That FGI site-how do you join? I checked out the page but couldn't find where to sign up to take surveys?

ive been using swagbucks for a while.. signed up for a few of survey sites to see if it can be beneficial. I Signed up for/ or have been a member of for a while... Opinion Outpost, BzzAgent, SheSpeaks, (General mills) Pssst program, Kraftfirsttaste, vocalpoint, Houseparty, Toluna, FGI, & a few more.
