Anyone had computer issues from Swagbucks?

I have had swagbucks toolbar downloaded for some time now...months...with no problem. But now all of a sudden my computer would not even open internet explorer today. I called my stepdad who is a computer guru..he helped me return my computer to the original settings (with no toolbars etc.) and it worked. He says it is swagbucks, b/c he did the same thing with my hubbys computer and it was also due to swagbucks. Anybody else had similar issues?
I love swagbucks and make a lot of money I dont want to stop.

Other mods: if there is a better place for this feel free to move. Thanks!

Knock on wood I have had no problems. The only toolbar I've ever had trouble with is the one for Facebook games.

Yup

I now just have a swagbucks logo next to the FB logo and the yahoo mail logo up top that I can click into.

But that exact thing you downloaded totally crapped up my computer.

what system do you have?

i have not had any problems with the toolbar at all. and lets hope that i do not.!

I installed the toolbar in Firefox and have no issues so far. I've had it installed since October last year.

I use internet explorer. I am going to reinstall and pray for the best.

Had the same thing happen to me! I had to reset my computer. The computer tech said I can go to the website and search but DO NOT put the toolbar back on. I now have swagbucks in my favorites and go to the site from there. A little more work but it does still give me points. I have IE and have had the toolbar for months!

Interesting...the problem was when I was in IE

I normally use firefox and they do it a bit different and it is not a problem.

Yes, I had multiple problems and got a virus from swagbucks, so I don't do it anymore. And yes, it was with IE. The hassles of my internet not working, then being without a laptop for a while....not worth it for a few $5 gcs, imo.

Interesting.....I've had SB for over a year and caught a virus a couple months ago. I thought it was from Adobe because that was the last thing I downloaded, but now maybe not..
