This is exactly the reason why I stopped doing their surveys. I'd rather be earning swagbucks for searches than answering a ton of questions only to get the "do not qualify" crap after I've answered more than the introductory questions.
This is related to what I wrote about a survey site saying that I wasn't qualified after I took the whole survey - I just received this disclaimer from Opinion Outpost -
Determination of eligibility for Opinion Points may be made at any time during the survey for reasons which may include, but are not necessarily limited to demographics, inconsistencies, overly hurried responses, or for other reasons. If a particular survey is hosted by a third party, that party has sole discretion in determining whether Opinion Points will be awarded. Opinion Outpost works closely with these third parties to ensure you are treated fairly. We will look into all disputes involving Opinion Point awards, and will do our best to make sure you get your points. If it is determined, however, that you did not meet the survey selection criteria, you will not receive Opinion Points for that survey.
Way to get around paying us, folks!

Yup! It takes a while but you begin to learn when it pays and when it doesn't.
I love swagbucks but I noticed something a little odd. I keep track of every single one that I earn and at the end of each week I total it but the next week when I sign in their amount is always 1 lower than my total! Weird.
I disqualify for a fair amt...but I also do get alot of good surveys for O.O. I made $25 with them in the last month...so for now, i'll stick with them.
I guess it depends if you meet their demographics and they must pay some people or they'd never last.
Yep, no more surveys for me. i'm glad it works for some people, but i just have bad luck at it. I tried about 10 surveys over about a week or so for a 'reputable' survey site that is frequently recommended. Every single time, i would get about 10-15 minutes into a survey with a recommended completion time of 20-25 minutes, only to be told that they had met their quota for that survey. SOOOO frustrating! And it literally happened every single time. Other sites I have gotten the same "did not qualify" after more than just qualifier questions as well.

I have actually got the same email from them once. I think it must be the "standard" cop out email.
However, I still make a TON of money with them...so they are still my fav. Customer service could definitely be better with this but most of the surveys I do this does not happen to me personally. I've made right at $100 in 4 months with them....some referrals but mostly from surveys.
I get this same type response from most of the survey sites when I get thru an entire survey and disqualify....but the other day this happened to me with Valued Opinions and they apologized and fixed it for me. First time THAT has ever happened. I was pleased.

I wish these companies would be like Synovate. Even if I DQ, I still get 50-100 points, and you only need 5000 to cash-out...so not too bad.
I don't do bad with them either.
Valued Opinions is 50/50 for me.
Oddly enough, the company I have the most trouble qualifying for is the Swagbuck surveys...maybe 1 in 10.
