I signed up about a year ago, and I've never received a product or a survey. When I log into the site, my info is still there, so I know I'm on their list. Perhaps I'm just not a very interesting person!

For those of you who have completed surveys and received products to evaluate from PineCone -

I recently completed a survey (maybe only 1 and 1/2 - 2 weeks ago) and was sent the $3 check. During the survey, it was mentioned that the research company was interested in my opinion, and asked whether I be willing to try the product. Of course, I agreed. However, nothing in the survey asked for my address or information. I was wondering whether PineCone supplies this information, or if I did something wrong? Also, how long after the survey have you waited for your product? Maybe I'll still receive it?

You don't always get to try the product, even if you answer 'Yes' to being willing. I think it probably depends on how many samples they have to give out, the demographic the mfr is looking for, your answers on the survey, etc. If you are selected, it will come straight from PCR and usually arrives in just a couple of days after you do the original survey. You will have a few days to test the product (or longer, if it's something that you may not be able to use right away like feminine products) and then they will send the link to a follow-up survery. You will get paid another $3 for completing the follow-up survey.

I usually answer 'Yes' to being willing to try everything unless it's something we just would not use whether it was free or not, like diet pills or cigs (not that i've ever taken a survey on either one, LOL, but you get the idea).

Wow! Thanks so much for your help. I get it now. Well, looks like I won't get to try this product, but maybe next time :) we'll see! I haven't gotten a survey since then so I'm looking forward to hopefully getting another soon!!
