Nervous about Pinecone changes!

I stopped doing the surveys for 'sweepstakes'... give me my money, not a 'chance' at a drawing that I'll NEVER win! Now I do other sites that aren't as frustrating. I use my paypal money to get extra coupons from clipping sites so I don't have to spend as much on newspapers.

I changed to the $3 and have not received a check for some of the surverys I have done. Don't think I was put in the sweepstakes either. So I stop doing them.

I don't have one either (Paypal) and don't want one but it seems most companies like em nowadays :shrug7: The sweepstakes was on one of the screeners that they've always sent but the sweepstakes is different. I never do sweepstake surveys either, don't see the point, gimme cash I guess I joined after they quit doing the $5 rewards because I've only ever gotten $3. I hope they don't end up like Greenfield where they send you 20 surveys and only one actually pays

I tried downloading the plug in but my Trend antivirus won't let me. Have no idea what to do next. Anyone else,here download the plug in without any problems? Any easy tips of how to do this.? Thanks

Turn off the antivirus, download the plug in, then turn your antivirus back on.

I did turn off the antivirus but it still won't let me download and also turned on the pop ups

I have Trend. I exited Trend completely-right click the icon on your bar in the lower right corner and click exit. Say yes you want to exit if prompted. Then try to download again. If you're still being blocked, make sure your Windows firewall/defense are down to. But make sure you turn everything on when you're done. Mine downloaded without issue, I am using Firefox.

didn't you get the page where it says Dangerous website and to close the window? I'll try what you told me,again. I don't know anything about the Windows firewall/defenses. Where do you find that? This is very frustrating for me. Thanks for your help.

My husband will not let me download things that say that. I did it one time a long time ago and we caught a virus. Also when it says security certificate unverified or something like that I don't advise continuing either. It can trash your computer. We had to get ours fixed.

I had the same problem with trend. Added it to the list of accepted sites and all -- still wouldn't go. I finally emailed pinecone, let them know I couldn't download it and let it go at that.
