Wow! Glad I read this thread. I'm on the "waiting list" as well. Sounds like if you coupon much this is no deal at all. Thanks for all input!

I just got the confirm that they are sending me a scanner. I was afraid it might be time consuming but was hopeing I could get the kids to help scan the stuff I purchase when home with the promise of picking out the prizes. I decided I would check on here and see what everyone elses expierence was while waiting on the scanner. Now that I am reading everyones posts I am even more concerned. I guess I will just wait and see what happens, I guess I can always send it back if it doesnt work out. I hope it turns out well though.

I got mine a month ago. Yes, if you coupon a lot it's a pain to enter everything and the prizes are really overpriced (it takes a lot of points to get anything). But I'm still doing it. I guess when I get bored, I'll just return it. The store I shop most at doesn't require prices, so that helps.

I am so glad I am not the only one!!

I got my scanner 2 weeks ago. I am having one heck of a time getting it to transmit. I think we may have the wrong kind of simething computer related, but, I don't really know that much about computers.

It took me over an hour to scan and input my grocery trip.

I am sending it back.

Once I looked at the prizes, it's not worth it. If I want to share my opinion about what I buy, I'll stick to Synovate Surveys, which has paid me $50 this year!

Nope, you are not the only one. I just got mine about two weeks ago and started using it this week. I can already see ways the program could be improved and I have a feeling I am not going to last long doing it because I'm already having trouble transmitting. I tried last night for over an hour (they sent me one that you transmit via phone) and I never did get it to work. The computer-based message kept telling me "we seem to have a bad connection" and I finally got frustrated and gave up. I did everything the book said with no results.

I had several questions regarding specific things about coupon usage (how to subtract a RA $5/$25 coupon, for example) and I found their tech support to be rude and not willing to help. I could tell the woman was annoyed with me and when she picked up the phone she chatted with someone in the background about weekend plans for 30 seconds before saying hello or actually attending to my call. She made it very clear that I was interrupting her social hour.

Like others here, I also find the prizes to be overpriced. I mean, some of the things are 48,000 points and you only get 150 pts per week for transmitting the first 6 months.

I'm not a quitter so I'm going to give it a little longer but I have a feeling this box under my desk is going to be put to good use soon via FedEx.

I used the scanner for about 2 months and then sent it back. It was a lot more time consuming than I expected. I thought you would just scan the bar code for each item purchased, but it is more involved than that. Sometimes the item won't scan and then you need to enter the bar code number by hand. You also need to enter the price of the item, the value of any coupons used and where you got the coupon, if the item was on sale at the store, etc. I use a lot of coupons and match them up with store sales; if you don't do this then using the scanner won't be as time consuming. I also had trouble transmitting; sometimes I had to do it 3-4 times before it would go through. I guess each person needs to decide if it is worth the time commitment.
