I wanted to sign up to see if I could get in to the cookie swap, but it is the same day as my hubby's work party. Do I have to have the party on that day or can I do it on a differant day.

Sign up to see if you can get in, just try it. I sign up for most of them but hardy get in. In fact I was invited to join the philly one, but when I got the confirmation that I was accepted, it said it was full. So geting in is hard, but if you do get it, do it the day before or the day after. Take pictures do what you can. They will never know if it was that day or not.

You can have the party whenever you want. Some parties (like for a TV show) tell you to have the party before a certain date, usually when the show premieres on TV.

They encourage you to have the party the day they schedule to keep with the one day across American thing, but you can have it before or after. I think at this point they are more concerned that you actually have it than when so long as its not weeks later.
